The Sedgwick and Cedar Planet Rock New York City t-shirt design celebrates Afrika Bambaataa and the beginning of his tour around the world. The shirt displays a replica of a vintage flyer promoting a show with the Soul Sonic Force in NYC, along with the label from the record they produced single. In 1982, Bambaataa and his group the Soul Sonic Force proved to the world that they were light years away with their smash 12” hit, Planet Rock, as it introduced an exciting new sound and led the spread of Hip Hop culture across the world.
